ASAH 46th Annual Conference Speaker Proposal

The ASAH 46th Annual Conference is fast approaching, and we are excited to invite dynamic speakers to lead 75-minute workshops and roundtable facilitators to guide 60-minute discussions on topics that will shape the future of education.

The conference will take place on October 27th, 2025 at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

This year, ASAH will conduct interviews with potential workshop and roundtable presenters.

This year’s theme is Empowering Every Learner: Building Foundations for Success. We are looking for passionate experts to present workshops in the following areas, based on the interests and needs of our attendees:

  • Behavioral Intervention
  • Classroom Management
  • Social-Emotional Learning
  • Differentiation
  • Transition/Preparing Students for Transition

If you'd like to submit a proposal for a topic not listed - please feel free to!

Additionally, we are hosting 6 topic-specific roundtables (60 minutes) and need experienced facilitators who can guide collaborative discussions on the following topics:

  • School Safety: Ensuring a Secure Environment for Learning - In this roundtable participants will discuss best practices for emergency preparedness, school security protocols, crisis management, and creating safe spaces for students.
  • Engaging Families: Building Strong Partnerships for Student Success - In this roundtable participants will discuss strategies for effective communication, fostering trust, and creating partnerships with families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Community-Based Instruction: Empowering Students Through Real-World Learning - In this roundtable participants will discuss effective strategies for integrating real-world learning opportunities into the curriculum, including partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and community services.
  • Behavioral Intervention - In this roundtable attendees will explore advanced strategies for implementing behavioral interventions and refining practices discussed in the earlier workshop.
  • Assistive Technology - In this roundtable participants will discuss strategies for selecting and implementing assistive technology, customizing tools to meet individual needs, and overcoming common challenges in both classroom and remote learning settings.
  • IEP Writing & Instructional Planning: Bridging the Gap for Success- This roundtable would give participants an opportunity to discuss how to effectively write and implement IEPs while also considering how instructional strategies and goals are planned and adapted for students.

Each roundtable will provide an intimate setting for attendees to share insights, challenges, and best practices, and we are seeking facilitators who can foster engaging, solution-oriented conversations.

If you are interested in contributing your expertise as either a workshop presenter or roundtable facilitator, we encourage you to submit your proposal and help us build a stronger foundation for every learner.
