
Special Education Teacher
Pineland Learning Center –Vineland, NJ
Required Certification (Read Before You Apply!)
· Must hold a at least a Certificate of Eligibility (CE) or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS) from the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE)
· Must be willing to pursue the NJDOE Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) endorsement

Position Overview
· Pay: Annual salary ranges from $53,000 and above, dependent on candidate experience, education (certifications/advanced degrees), and content area/age group taught
· Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 3:00pm
· Term: 10-month academic year, aligning with the Vineland Public School calendar, August 26, 2025 – June 17, 2026
· Summer Employment: Possible summer ESY role under a separate contract, contingent on program needs
· Job Type: Full-time exempt. Benefits eligible, effective immediately upon hire

Core Responsibilities
· Deliver aligned, developmentally appropriate instruction per NJ Student Learning Standards
· Implement accommodations based on IEPs
· Collaborate with paraprofessionals, clinicians, and support staff
· Lead IEP meetings and monitor academic and behavioral progress
· Embed technology and behavior-support strategies to drive student success
Qualifications
· Mandatory: CE or CEAS NJDOE teaching certification
· Willing to pursue: TOSD endorsement (help provided)
· Eligible certifications: Teacher of the Handicapped, TOSD, P-3, N-8, or secondary subject-area (e.g., Math, English)
· Must be: Collaborative, patient, and responsive to student needs
