High School STEM & Technology Teacher

The Deron School of N.J., Inc., an approved private school for students with disabilities, ages 3-21 is seeking applicants for a STEM & Technology position in our Montclair campus (Ages 12 - 21). The applicant should possess the ability to multi-task and excel in a fast paced environment, as well as, maintain high standards for teaching and learning. Experience with ABA programming is a plus. 

Qualifications: NJDOE: NJ Teacher's Technology Education Certification or Family Consumer Science Certification Candidates should be well versed in Google Workspace: Classroom, Docs, Spreadsheet, Slides, Meet and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Publisher and other instructional and administrative applications. 

● Experience working with the NJ Career Readiness Standards and experience with CBI, SLE, and ABA programming is a plus. 

●Candidates should also be familiar with basic coding and programming skills.

Position Purpose: Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing school approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of individual students and by creating a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc. 

Job Types: Full-time, Contract (10 months plus ESY) 

Pay: $65,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year (Full Benefit package and Pension available)
