High School Teacher 

The Deron School of N.J., Inc., an approved private school for students with disabilities, ages 3-21 is seeking applicants for a Teacher of the Handicapped/Teacher of Students with Disabilities position in our Montclair campus (Ages 12 - 21). 

The applicant should possess the ability to multi-task and excel in a fast paced environment, as well as, maintain high standards for teaching and learning. Experience with ABA programming is a plus. 

Qualifications: NJDOE: Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of the Handicapped certification. (Experience working with students with Autism is a plus)

Position Purpose: Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing school approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of individual students and by creating a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc. 

Job Types: Full-time, Contract (10 months plus ESY) Pay: $65,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year (Full Benefit package available)
